Integration options for your workflow

Gen-1 Design can operate within customer-managed secure environments when projects involve sensitive or regulated data. GEN-1 adapts to the collaboration method that best fits your team and program needs.

What your team provides

For projects that require your secure environment, GEN-1 typically needs the same access you would provide to an internal user:

  • A user account with appropriate project permissions.
  • Standard VPN and multi-factor authentication, if required by your access model.
  • Access to a customer-provided workstation, or (if a workstation is not provided) access to your VDI, enclave, or secure workstation session.
  • Access to your CAD, PDM/PLM, and any other tools hosted inside your environment, as applicable.

Low burden for IT: access aligns with your existing account and remote-access model.
